About Me
Hello, my name is Sue and I am an National Counselling Society Accredited (NCS) Person-Centred Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor;
ADHD-Certified Clinical Service Provider (CCSP) and Mental Health support worker.

Based in Shropshire and with a background in Psychology, I have been working for many years supporting both adults and children through difficult life experiences and have worked for charitable organisations such as Mind and Sova.

I am passionate about my work and invested in providing both my clients and my professional colleagues with continued support: whether that be to develop their own career goals, build a supportive working environment or find a way to navigate the challanges of life.

My Practice
I currently work as a self employed Therapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.
Providing individual Counselling, both group and individual Supervision and professional Mental Health support to colleges, schools and businesses country wide through my online private practice.

In addition to this I also work closely with The Green Oak Foundation: a community interest company based in Shrewsbury.
Providing individual counselling support for both adults and children 10 years and above.
My private pracitce therapy services are conducted remotely, as I feel this provides both a confidential and convenient online environment with which we can work together effectively.
Having this added flexability I feel gives the option for everyone to take control their therapy progress and provide easily accessible support when needed the most.

1.
Clinical
Supervision
As a Clinical Supervisor, I work closely with both qualified and trainee clinical professionals, providing a collaborative opportunity to explore, discuss and reflect on their clinical work with clients both individually and in groups.

Working within the Seven Eyed Model of Supervision, I offer an opportunity to explore all aspects of the therapeutic relationship and can provide you with the encouragement to develop your skills and increase your knowledge base.

By promoting continued self-care and encouraging self-awareness, we can collaboratively explore both ethically and professionally, all aspects of your job role and your therapeutic work with your clients; as directed by both the NCPS and BACP good codes of practive requirements.

Feedback is an essential part of this supervisiory relationship, including regular reviews and evaluations throughout.
2.
Individual
Counselling
As an individual Online Person centred Counsellor, I work in a client led way to establish patterns of behavour, a greater understanding of self and an exploration of workable coping skills and stratergies to face the challanges of life.

If you feel ready to commit to this therapy process with me, we can then work together to help find your way through the most difficult of times.

By providing you with a safe, confidential online space to explore your needs
and an empathetic listening ear to gain a greater understanding of the difficulties you face,

I can encourage and support you to become empowered within the therapy process; to gain self-awareness and find your voice, discover your agency and build your resilience to take back control of your life.

3.
Mental Health Support Groups
As part of my private practice, I host and facilitate, online mental health workshops and support groups to various organisations, colleges and schools, to help promote and work with Mental Health awareness.
Providing a safe space to explore together issues that may potentially impact the working/learning environment.
Additionally I also offer service providers an opportunity to examine existing support structures and explore practical ways of implimenting a more holistic approach to caring for professional collegues, and pupils that may be experiecing lifes challanges, such as bareavement and loss, anxiety and depression, and difficulties faced with regards neorodiversity and gender dysphoria.
